Sukanta's Metal Works Palace is a beautiful commercial centre. Though it comprises of a factory and a showroom, yet the sheer beauty of traditional architecture and masterly crafts works of Sukanta and his team transform the entire property like a museum. I wish the centre receives appropriate patronage to literally transform this property as a museum of metal crafts.

One of the finest places for visiting, learning and buying "lost wax" method sculptures, and also brass, bronze and kasha metal utencils and household items. Mr. Sukanta Banik is a fantastic host, how is upholding and maintaining their century old family business in their old family home. A beautiful place to visit!

A wonderful place to buy metal work. It's haertwarming to see the old technique of lost wax still alive and being used to make the artefacts. Both in brass and bell metal.

One of Bangladesh's last remaining metal handicrafts makers...I visited this place in 2006/07 and met the smart heir of the business, Sukanta da, and his mother, saw the works showcased in rooms with amazement! Keep it up and make these items more available to public.
